Bonn
With more than 329,000 inhabitants, Bonn is the 9th largest city in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The city can look back on a history of more than 2,000 years and is therefore one of the oldest cities in Germany. In the years 1949-1990, Bonn was also the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany and the seat of the German parliament until 1999. The international importance of the city is reflected in the fact that 20 United Nations organisations are located in Bonn.
Bonn has many important sights to offer, such as the House of History, the Old Town Hall, Bonn Cathedral or Beethoven House.
