Naarden Vesting
A visit to Naarden-Vesting, is a visit to the past. The village looks much the same as it did 400 years ago.
It is an old fortified town that has a star shape. Naarden was then part of the New Dutch Waterline.
The entire fortress is a protected townscape and the bastions and ravelins can still be visited. Famous structures include the Utrecht Gate, The Spanish House and the Town Hall.
