Roosendaal

Brabant’s Roosendaal has 67,000 inhabitants and has long been an important international hub for train traffic between the Netherlands and Belgium. The town is first mentioned in 1268 when land was granted to build a chapel. In 1451, the Roosendaalse Vliet was made navigable and Roosendaal was given a harbour. This harbour was important for transporting the peat extracted in the area.
Places of interest in Roosendaal are the Sint-Janskerk, the Raadhuis and the Tongerlohuys. In short, a special city you must have seen.
