Valkenburg
Valkenburg is a beautiful historic town in the rolling Limburg countryside. The river De Geul flows through the town.
Valkenburg has been visited by many tourists and day trippers every year since the 19th century. Not only because of the city itself, but also the surrounding nature such as the Cauberg and the Geul valley. The town itself has many national monuments, including Valkenburg castle ruins. Other special sights are the Dikke Kei, and of course the Marl caves. In short, a city well worth a visit.
